Wara is a small village of 278 hectares in Banswara Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Wara depends on Banswara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Wara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Wara's pin code is 327001[4], and village code is 03439100. The area of Wara is segregated as 5 hectares irrigated area, 149 hectares unirrigated, the 15 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 52 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Wara has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Wara is a census village in the district of Banswara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 774 and has total administration over 158 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Wara has 172 children, 82 boys and 90 girls.
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 772 (99.74%) males constitute 375 (48.45%) of the population and females 397 (51.29%).

The workforce is 177 male, 182 female with 291 (81.06%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 137 males and 154 females. 131 males and 148 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 1 male and 1 female agricultural labor. 68 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Banswara to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
