(commonly referred to as Warner Bros. and abbreviated as WB) is a multinational mass media and entertainment conglomerate through its headquarters at the Warner Bros. Studios complex in Burbank, California. It is a subsidiary of AT&T's WarnerMedia through its Studios & Networks division. The company was founded in 1923 by four brothers, Harry, Albert, Sam, and Jack Warner, and quickly established itself as a leader in the American film industry before branching out into animation, television, and video games. It is considered one of the "Big Five" major American film studios and a member of the Motion Picture Association of America (MPA).
