The Waves of Success Foundation (WSF) is an independent non-profit organization founded to address the unmet needs of socioeconomically disadvantaged Nigerians[1] and citizens of Kogi State, North Central region of Nigeria in particular, with a focus on the disenfranchised to improve healthcare[2] and livelihoods[3]. It was incorporated 2018 and based in Lokoja, Nigeria.[4] It is among the Charter for Change endorsers[5] to propagate the localization of humanitarian aid.[6]
The Foundation's objectives are achieved using partnerships and affiliations with both structured[7][8] and unstructured[9][10][11] institutions to gain access to the Community (ecology) hard-to-reach communities in Kogi State thereby ensuring wide spread of intercessions.
The foundation gathered media attention during Nigeria's COVID19 related national lock down period when it announced and commenced the distribution of 1,000,000 hand sanitizers to communities in Kogi State to complement the efforts of the State and Federal Government.[12][13]
Asides medical outreach, WSF provides interventions in Youth Sports and Education. It also supports local micro-entrepreneurship through grants and funding.[14]
