    Yaraku was founded by Suguru Sakanishi in August 2009 and is based in Shibuya, Tokyo.[8] The company intended to facilitate global communication by providing multilingual online software solutions.[9] In 2010, the company launched its first service, WorldJumper, which provided a platform for cross-language communication.[10] In 2015, Yaraku extended its offerings with the launch of "YarakuZen," a highly accurate and efficient online document translation tool.[11] The company introduced a marketplace for "post-editing" services in 2021, connecting clients with specialized translation firms.[12] In 2022, Yaraku introduced "YarakuZen for Box," which integrated multilingual AI translation with the content cloud platform, Box, to facilitate content translation and management.[13][14]
