Yogoda Satsanga Vidyalaya

Yogoda Satsanga Vidyalaya, established in 1917[1], is a higher secondary school in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India. It was established in 1917 under the aegis of Yogoda Satsanga Society of India. The school pays special attention to the economically weaker sections of the society by way of financial assistance. The school is located 500 meters from the upcoming High Court campus and just 1 km from the upcoming State Legislative Assembly.

The school was established in the year 1967 under the aegis of Yogoda Satsanga Society of India, a spiritual and charitable organization of worldwide repute. It was founded by Guru Sri Sri Paramahansa Yogananda[2] to teach moral and spiritual values to young boys. The students are also taught yoga concentration and meditation, and a unique system of physical development, "Yogoda," whose principles he had discovered in 1916.
