How to well do you know your brand

From Wikiversity - Reading time: 2 min

How in tune are you with your brand presence?

WE MAY THINK WE KNOW WHO OUR BRAND IS INSIDE AND OUT BUT IN REALITY, WE OFTEN DON’T

As humans, we often fail to understand who we actually are unless we look deeper into ourselves and determine our character, purpose, and values.

A brand is the same way. If we don’t go deep in discovering who it is on

multiple levels, it may be totally lost and not even realize it. Test how well you know your brand with the following 5 simple questions.

1. What change does your brand hope to make in the world?

2. What is your specific audience member like?

3. What is the one thing your business is the best at?

4. If your brand were a person, how would they speak/dress/act?

Why should your audience choose you over anyone else?

Looking at the world, what does your brand strive to support or do? What change do you

aspire for? Having a clear vision for the future is key to setting the course for your brand.

Emphasis on specific. What is their personality, what do they dress like or talk like, what other brands do they like, etc. Do you know this

person inside and out?

I’m sure you’re great at a lot of things but do you have that ONE thing that you harness as your key strength? And do you express this prominently throughout your business?

Like we mentioned with your audience, do you know your brand on a human level? Think

about if you can picture how they would present themselves in the world.

There’s competition out there, that’s for sure. So why should that audience member that we talked about choose you over anyone else?

How do you really connect with them?

These 5 questions can tell you a lot
