Indigenous Australian psychology

Indigenous Australian psychology is a small, but actively growing field. It seeks to readdress issues for Indigenous Australian peoples arising from colonisation and to explore and understand the knowledges of Indigenous people.

Stolen Generation

Between 1910 and 1970, approximately 100,000 Australian Aboriginal children were forcibly removed from their families and communities (between one in three and one in ten children were removed). Read these accounts of personal stolen generation experiences:
