Mental Schemes

From Wikiversity - Reading time: 1 min

Schemes, or Mind Maps are a visual method developed by free British psychologist Tony Buzan in the early 70's to organize information and thought processes. Can be defined as a method of designing non-linear information.

The mindset is a technique that lets you organize and present information in an easy, spontaneous and creative way for it to be assimilated and remembered by the brain. Also, this method allows to generate ideas and other ideas that we can see how they connect, relate and expand (free from the demands of any form of linear organization).

This technique allows us to enter the realms of our minds more creatively. Its effect is immediate: it helps to organize projects in a few minutes, stimulates creativity, overcomes obstacles of writing and provides an effective method for the production and exchange of ideas.

The mental models take into account how the brain collects, processes and stores information. Their structure, records a visual image that facilitates extracting information, write it down and memorize the details easily.
