New Testament (Greek)

From Wikiversity - Reading time: 1 min

What's the big idea?

[edit | edit source]

These pages are intended for people who know some modern Greek, enough to read and write simple texts, and who are interested in reading the New Testament in the original Koine Greek. Parts of the New Testament are surprisingly approachable for folks at an intermediate level on up. You can decide how many or which of the questions you want to answer, how much to write, whether to do the additional readings, and whether to go investigate on your own, according to your time, interest and energy.

Part of 2 Corinthians 11:33-12:9, from around 200 A.D.

Unlike sites that rely on traditional student-teacher models of learning, Wikiversity is built around the concept of learning communities. (Eh, at least some of the time.) So these pages aren't full of exercises with set answers. They are intended to help learners figure out strategies for reading comprehension that work best for them, while having a little fun at the same time.

These pages take a short text from one of the Gospels as a starting point.
