This examination of the operational considerations of sport and live entertainment management is under development by University of Florida, College of Health and Human Performance, Department of Sport Management, SPM 6905 Operational Aspects of Sport and Live Entertainment graduate students. This is a Fall 2020 coursework initiative that is being led by the students at the direction of Brian D. Avery, UF SPM Faculty member. This project will begin September 7, 2020 and will be ongoing throughout the Fall 2020 semester.
Students will analyze and define the operational considerations of sport and live entertainment management functions including typologies, ownership/management structures, financial responsibilities, project management, regulatory and compliance, globalization, patron experience, and legal and risk issues.
