According to the World Health Organization, in order to improve muscular and cardiovascular fitness, children must follow three rules every day. First, children and youth aged 5–17 should participate in at least 60 minutes of activity. Secondly, if children choose to go over the 60 minutes, the activity should show improvements in health benefits rather than being detrimental. Lastly, most of the daily physical activity should be aerobic. Of the aerobic activity, 3 days a week should be vigorous physical activity.
