The Korean Audiological Society is a representative society of hearing and otology in Korea with a long history and tradition of 57 years. The 30th executives of the Korean Audiological Society have been focusing on the following key projects to achieve and advance the unique purpose of our society.
This society has been strengthening public awareness of early diagnosis and management for patients with hearing loss which the Korean Audiological Society has been working hard on.
Additionally, This society's board of director is trying to enhance the research capabilities of the Korean Audiological Society and strengthen research projects led by the society. The audiological big data project has been led by the society, and related research has been conducted. The board will further develop this and create conditions for the members of the society to participate. The Journal of Audiology & Otology has been the official journal of our society since 1997. The society will make it one step further into an SCI-level journal. This society has also made efforts to train audiology students and doctors, who are the future of the Korean Audiological Society, and encourage them to participate in society.
Lastly, the Korean Audiological Society will support preparations for the World Congress of Audiology to be held in Seoul in 2026.
