Rampur is a small village of 871 hectares in Allapur Tehsil in Ambedkar Nagar district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Rampur depends on HANABAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Rampur's pin code is 224181[4], and village code is 06026100. The area of Rampur is segregated as 135 hectares irrigated area, 6 hectares unirrigated area.
Rampur has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Rampur is a census village in the district of Ambedkar Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 633 and has total administration over 102 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of HANABAR and Ambedkar Nagar to sell jaggery and make their living.
