Bihar

From Conservapedia

Bihar is a state of India, located in the north, bordering Nepal. Its capital city is Patna.

Buddhists believe that the Buddha was enlightened in Bodh Gaya, and the founder of Jainism, Mahavira, is believed to have been born in Vaishali, both in what is now the state of Bihar. Despite the fact that Buddhism and Jainism were founded in Bihar, there are only 18,000 Buddhists and 16,000 Jains in Bihar, which has a population of 83,000,000.[1]
