Kamasin is a small village of 2614 hectares in Baberu Tehsil in Banda district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kamasin depends on kamasin, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kamasin's pin code is 210125[4], and village code is 04813400. The area of Kamasin is segregated as , 871 hectares unirrigated area. the 477 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 30 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Kamasin has One post office (Kamasin S.O). The village is connected with a single bus service. Kamasin has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Kamasin is a census village in the district of Banda, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 13470 and has total administration over 2289 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

According to a census 2011 report, 5037 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 3661 male, 1376 female with 3221 (63.95%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 2874 males and 347 females. 1339 males and 125 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 623 male and 97 female agricultural labor. 1816 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of kamasin and Banda to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
