Ulster

From Conservapedia

Ulster (Irish: Uladh) is one of the four traditional provinces of Ireland, the others being Connaught or Connacht, Leinster and Munster. Ulster consists of the six counties of Northern Ireland and three counties of the Republic of Ireland. It has a population of a little under two million people. Protestants/ British Unionists in Northern Ireland often use the term Ulster as shorthand for Northern Ireland - the protest movement against the 1985 Anglo Irish Agreement used the slogan "Ulster Says No". Current politics in this provinces follow religious lines.

Throughout the 18th century many of the Irish emigrants to the US were Ulster-Scots.
