Wexford

From Conservapedia

Wexford (Irish: Loch Garman) is a port town in south-east Ireland, located in County Wexford, and situated on the estuary of the River Slaney where it flows into the Irish Sea. It was founded by the Vikings c. 800, and its name derives from the Old Norse for 'inlet with mud flats'. Wexford was a major centre of the 1798 rising against British rule in Ireland. The town is renowned for its annual Opera Festival, established in 1951.
