Dennis Avery

Dennis Avery is the co-author, with Fred Singer, of Unstoppable Global Warming: Every 1500 Years (Rowman & Littlefield Publishers, 2007). This book details the evidence for natural cyclical periods of global warming and global cooling, and rationally debunks the many myths being promoted by the liberal media during the current global warming scare, such as predictions of massive famine, drought, violent weather, and species extinction.

He joined the Hudson Institute in 1989 after a very long and distinguished career as an agricultural economist. He worked in a number of federal departments, including the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and the Department of State. He was a senior analyst in the Department of State, and was awarded the National Intelligence Medal of Achievement in 1983 by then-Secretary of State, George Schultz.[1]
