Chahlar is a small village of 17 hectares in Nanpara Tehsil in Bahraich district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chahlar depends on SHIVPUR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Chahlar's pin code is 271830[4], and village code is 06457100. The area of Chahlar is segregated as 243.8 hectares irrigated area, 4 hectares unirrigated area. and remaining 0.7 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Chahlar has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with One recreational center.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Chahlar is a census village in the district of Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1685 and has total administration over 302 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 211 (12.52%) males constitute 103 (6.11%) of the population and females 108 (6.41%).

The workforce is 370 male, 25 female with 378 (95.7%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 362 males and 16 females. 266 males and 2 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 92 male and 8 female agricultural labor. 17 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of SHIVPUR and Bahraich to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
