Russia 3.0 was formally announced by The New York Times on February 20, 2020 and injected into the fake news echo chamber of CNN, NBC and other media outlets alleging Russian interference to favor Donald Trump in the 2020 Presidential election.[1] A companion piece in The Washington Post followed up with allegations that Russia was attempting to help Bernie Sanders, "according to people familiar with the matter”.[2]
