Han Feizi
Chinese 韓非子
Literal meaning Master Han Fei

Han Feizi was a Chinese philosopher. He created a philosophy known as Legalism based on the ideas of Shang Yang. This philosophy emphasizes the need to promote the ruler's authority through strict laws and strict enforcement. This is in contrast to Confucianism, which emphasized moral duty and the need for superiors, including the ruler, to set a good moral example.

Han Feizi is also the name of Han Feizi's book, in which he lays out his philosophy.
