Barnacle

From Conservapedia

A barnacle is an invertebrate arthropodic creature which is no longer than five centimeters long. Barnacles are known for their unusual method of finding food - they attach themselves to rocks, whales, or even ships, and stay there for the rest of their lives. They then strain out plankton, catching the plankton with their legs.[1]
