Dan Mathews

Dan has spent twenty-three years in the Oil and Gas Industry working for major energy corporations in leadership roles, and in business as Business Unit Leader and Vice President. He is also a licensed Texas Real Estate Broker. Dan holds a Chemical Engineering degree and an MBA. Dan has been actively involved in the public for three decades. He has served as Republican Precinct Chair. Dan has also served as a Christian Youth Minister and has served on the Boards of both profit and non-profit organizations.

Dan was born in India and spent his childhood and school years in India and Zambia, Africa before he migrated to the United States in the late 1980’s. Dan has been married to his wife, Daisy, for twenty-seven years. The couple has two children, Christopher and Melody.

Dan Mathews started Stafford Christian Center in 2016, which supports the local community. Through diverse organizations, he has been assisting people in need with food drives, school and toy drives, disaster assistance, building houses, supporting the elderly and other charitable events. In his own words Dan said "I care for the people. I have a passion to serve. My public life and my involvement with the communities has helped me to understand the problems of people and shaped me to become an effective civil servant. I am obedient to my calling, and I believe I am called to serve for such a time as this. When I am elected, I will uphold the Constitution and serve every citizen with dignity and honor.

Dan’s campaign will focus on strong conservative values, securing elections, protecting our Second Amendment rights, improving the Texas school system, border security, increased energy independence, supporting law enforcement and protecting families and children. Dan is a servant leader and will campaign that way.

Dan brings leadership in diversity to the GOP and bridge the gap. He is a Christian and a social conservative living in the district over 30 years. He believes in the importance of family and community. Dan's vision is the consolation of the people of America. He is a businessman, a chemical engineer and a Texas real estate broker. He supports ministry and faith-based services. Dan works with several non-profit organizations, advisory councils, volunteer teams, PAC and Diversity & Inclusion groups.
