Blur is an alternative rock band from England, and one of the main bands in the Britpop movement. They performed the hits "Song 2" and "Girls and Boys." Their song "Song 2" was quite popular, and was featured in a South Park episode, in various advertisements and movie soundtracks.
Their most successful album is Parklife, which was released in 1994.
