Thali is a small village of 1076 hectares in Tonk Tehsil in Tonk district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Thali depends on Tonk, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Thali is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Thali's pin code is 304001[4], and village code is 02643300. The area of Thali is segregated as 555.1 hectares irrigated area, 295.1 hectares unirrigated, the 86 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 140 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Thali has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Thali is a census village in the district of Tonk, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1936 and has total administration over 376 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
- Thali has 314 children, 164 boys and 150 girls.
- Scheduled caste counts for 286 (14.77%) males constitute 149 (7.70%) of the population and females 137 (7.08%).
- Scheduled tribe counts for 578 (29.86%) males constitute 295 (15.24%) of the population and females 283 (14.62%).

Employment[edit]
According to a census 2011 report, 1037 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 509 male, 528 female with 916 (88.33%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 460 males and 456 females. 388 males and 413 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 44 male and 30 female agricultural labor. 121 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Tonk to sell earthen pot and make their living.
