Basai is a small village of 944 hectares in Fatehabad Tehsil in Agra district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.^[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Basai depends on AGRA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.^[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Basai's pin code is 283111^[4], and village code is 01584200. The area of Basai is segregated as 343 hectares irrigated area, 133 hectares unirrigated area.

Basai is a census village in the district of Agra, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1202 and has total administration over 171 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of AGRA and Agra to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
