Washington Monument Strategy

The Washington Monument strategy is a counter approach to calls for spending cuts. It calls for using the most high profile and popular service offered by a government program, instead of what is often the target: administrative waste and bureaucratic excess.

George Hertzog was the pioneer of the strategy.
