Sewa is a small village of 96 hectares in Handia Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sewa depends on Handia (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Sewa's pin code is 221503[4], and village code is 05613100. The area of Sewa is segregated as 55 hectares irrigated area, 14 hectares unirrigated area. the 11 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 16 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Sewa has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Sewa is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 755 and has total administration over 99 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
- Sewa has 70 children, 38 boys and 32 girls.
- Scheduled caste counts for 204 (27.02%) males constitute 108 (14.30%) of the population and females 96 (12.72%).

Employment[edit]
According to a census 2011 report, 437 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 205 male, 232 female with 362 (82.84%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 169 males and 193 females. 1 males and 1 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 152 male and 94 female agricultural labor. 75 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Handia (NP) and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
