Yomiuri Giants

From Conservapedia

The Yomiuri Giants (読売ジャイアンツ, Yomiuri Jaiantsu) are a famous Japanese baseball team based in Tokyo. As is common practice for baseball teams in Japan and Korea, the team is named after the majority shareholder, in this case Yomiuri Shimbun, a widely read newspaper.

The team is known as the New York Yankees of Japan, since they have won the Japanese Baseball League championships nine times, and are very popular. Their mascot is a large orange rabbit named Giabbit, wearing the Giants uniform with the number 555.
