Rhema

From Conservapedia

Rhema (ῥήμα) (Plural: rhemata (ῥήματα)) is a Greek term for spoken word, facts, things, message, or sayings, but is often translated by modern English versions of the Bible as word.

Today, a more powerful and familiar way to translate "rhema" might be as "facts", but this will depend on context. In Acts 11:16, it could be "facts explained"; in Luke 1:38, it could be "as you say."

According to the Liddel-Scott-Jones - a leading Greek-English lexicon when it was first published in 1843[1] - the main meaning of ῥήμα is that which is said or spoken, word, saying.
