Nucleosynthesis

From Conservapedia

Nucleosynthesis is the process of creating atomic nuclei from pre-existing protons and neutrons.

Heavier elements are believed to form mainly inside stars, through the process of nuclear fusion.

The big bang theory predicts that in the early universe the temperature would have been sufficiently great for nuclear fusion to occur. It predicts that the universe should be composed of roughly 23% helium with the majority of the rest being hydrogen.[1] According to naturalistic scientists, this is consistent with the known values.[2]
