Lake Ohrid

Lake Ohrid (Macedonian: Охридско Езеро, Ohridsko Ezero) is a lake located in Macedonia and Albania. It is the deepest lake in the Balkans and it is connected by underground channels to Lake Prespa to the southeast. The lake is named after the city of Ohrid wich is located at the banks of the lake.[1]
