Cohnheim, Paul

Cohnheim, Paul:

German physician; born at Labes, in Pomerania, Dec. 2, 1867. He was educated at the gymnasium at Stettin and the universities of Berlin, Freiburg in Baden, Tübingen, and Würzburg, being graduated from the last-named as doctor of medicine in 1891. He settled in Berlin as a physician the same year, and till 1899 was assistant physician at the Boas private hospital. Since 1899 he has continued in practise as a physician, treating mainly diseases of the digestive organs.

Cohnheim is the editor of the yearly literary reports in "Archiv für Verdauungs-Krankheiten."
