Metro State College

The Metropolitan State College of Denver (also known as Metro State) is a public four-year educational institution that offers bachelor's degrees through its three schools: Business, Professional Studies, and Letters, Arts and Sciences. It is the largest public four-year college in the United States and has the second-largest undergraduate student population in Colorado, consisting of 21,000 students. They have a wide verity of sports, such as baseball, men's and women's basketball and tennis.

Their President is Dr. Stephen M. Jordan.

Controversy[edit]

In September 2008 professor Andrew Hallam of Metro State forced students to write an essay critical of Sarah Palin, Republican vice presidential candidate and Alaska's governor. He singled out Republican students in the class and allowed others to ridicule them.^[1]
