Harasar is a small village of 3301 hectares in Sujangarh Tehsil in Churu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Harasar depends on SUJANGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Harasar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Harasar's pin code is 331505[4], and village code is 00663300. The area of Harasar is segregated as 3128.99 hectares unirrigated, the 72.8 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 99.21 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Harasar is a census village in the district of Churu, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2690 and has total administration over 503 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 606 (22.53%) males constitute 325 (12.08%) of the population and females 281 (10.45%).

The workforce is 711 male, 731 female with 729 (50.55%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 548 males and 181 females. 435 males and 158 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 5 male and 2 female agricultural labor. 713 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of SUJANGARH and Churu to sell ghee and make their living.
