Simthala is a small village of 405.4 hectares in Atrauli Tehsil in Aligarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Simthala depends on Atrauli (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tubewell and One handpump.
