Simthala is a small village of 405.4 hectares in Atrauli Tehsil in Aligarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Simthala depends on Atrauli (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Simthala's pin code is 202282[4], and village code is 01321600. The area of Simthala is segregated as 400 hectares irrigated area, remaining 5.44 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Simthala has One public telephone. Simthala has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Simthala is a census village in the district of Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 2614 and has total administration over 442 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 393 (15.03%) males constitute 210 (8.03%) of the population and females 183 (7.0%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Atrauli (MB) and Aligarh to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
