Sujauli is a small village of 74 hectares in Nanpara Tehsil in Bahraich district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.^[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sujauli depends on Mihipurwa, the nearest town for all major economic activities.^[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply which is 211.00% of the total supply, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. The area of Sujauli is segregated as 1623.36 hectares irrigated area, 661.49 hectares unirrigated area. the 8.04 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 2.7 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sujauli is a census village in the district of Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 13195 and has total administration over 2114 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

Scheduled caste counts for 1890 (14.32%) males constitute 968 (7.34%) of the population and females 922 (6.99%).

Employment[edit]

According to a census 2011 report, 4239 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 3055 male, 1184 female with 1499 (35.36%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 1052 males and 447 females. 478 males and 70 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 440 male and 293 female agricultural labor. 2740 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Mihipurwa and Bahraich to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
