This measure sought to add to the current levy by a rate of $.054 per $1,000 of assessed property value for one year in order to further pay for emergency ambulance services in the district.[2]

The question on the ballot:

SShall Grays Harbor County Fire District No. 3 levy upon the regular taxable property within the District, in addition to the regular levy; the sum of $36,000 (approximately $.0540 per thousand of assessed valuation) for the year of 2012 for the purpose of providing emergency care and ambulance services to its citizens?[3]
