Secular Woman

Secular Woman, Inc. is a non-profit secular organization incorporated in the state of Georgia in June of 2012. According to its website, the "mission of Secular Woman is to amplify the voice, presence, and influence of non-religious women."[1] Monette Richards is its president.

Atheist Alliance International (AAI) is a global federation of atheist organizations and individuals.

In October 2019, David Silverman was hired to be the Executive Director of Atheist Alliance International.[2]

In 2018, Silverman was fired from the American Atheists organization after allegations of financial conflicts and sexual assault.[3]

David Silverman indicated that Secular Woman and its president Monette Richards was trying to get the United Nations to revoke AAI's special consultative status with the UN in order to punish AAI for hiring Silverman.[4]
