Enjambment

From Conservapedia

Enjambment describes a sentence that is broken into multiple couplets or verses. George Eliot's poem, "The Choir Invisible", contains four lines which are a single sentence:

Oh, may I join the choir invisible
Of those immortal dead who live again
In minds made better by their presence; live
In pulses stirred to generosity.
