Sahila is a small village of 69 hectares in Handia Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sahila depends on Handia (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Sahila's pin code is 221502[4], and village code is 05613300. The area of Sahila is segregated as 49 hectares irrigated area, 5 hectares unirrigated area. the 6 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 9 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Sahila has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Sahila is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1321 and has total administration over 196 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

According to a census 2011 report, 440 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 308 male, 132 female with 148 (33.64%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 129 males and 19 females. 38 males and 2 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 15 male and 2 female agricultural labor. 292 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Handia (NP) and Allahabad to sell carpet and make their living.
