Dhav is a small village of 515.5 hectares in Koraon Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dhav depends on Koraon (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sourcesOne canal. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dhav's pin code is 212104[4], and village code is 05666500. The area of Dhav is segregated as 202.97 hectares irrigated area, 107.88 hectares unirrigated area. the 80 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 124.67 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Dhav has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Dhav is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 2220 and has total administration over 399 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
- Dhav has 461 children, 270 boys and 191 girls.
- Scheduled caste counts for 828 (37.30%) males constitute 448 (20.18%) of the population and females 380 (17.12%).
- Scheduled tribe counts for 66 (2.97%) males constitute 35 (1.58%) of the population and females 31 (1.40%).

Employment[edit]
According to a census 2011 report, 958 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 526 male, 432 female with 485 (50.63%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 395 males and 90 females. 239 males and 57 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 113 male and 21 female agricultural labor. 473 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Koraon (NP) and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
