Barsaita is a small village of 332.7 hectares in Meja Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Barsaita depends on Sirsa (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Barsaita's pin code is 212302[4], and village code is 05624200. The area of Barsaita is segregated as 35 hectares irrigated area, 190.99 hectares unirrigated area. the 9.1 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 32.41 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Barsaita has One public telephone. Barsaita has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Barsaita is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 2598 and has total administration over 398 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 529 male, 163 female with 259 (37.43%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 194 males and 65 females. 56 males and 12 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 6 male and 43 female agricultural labor. 433 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sirsa (NP) and Allahabad to sell carpet and make their living.
