The University of Missouri (or Mizzou) is a Missouri public university founded in 1839.[2] It ranked #91 in US News's 2008 "National Universities: Top Schools" list.

The mascot of the Tigers team, 'Truman the Tiger' who was named after the states only native state President, Harry S. Truman.'Truman the Tiger' has won the nations favorite mascot award twice in his history starting in 1985 (once in 2004 then again in 2014).[5]
