Paramaribo

Paramaribo (short: Par'bo) is the capital of Suriname and is located on the left (west) bank of the river Suriname, about 10km inland. It has more than 240.000 inhabitants.[1]

The Roman Catholic Sint Petrus en Paulus Kathedraal (Cathedral-Basilica of Saint Peter and Paul) is the largest wooden builing in South America and even Western Hemisphere.[2]
