Around The Horn

From Conservapedia

Around the horn is baseball terminology for a double play in which the batter hits the ball to the third baseman, who then throws to the second baseman covering second base for the first out, and the second baseman in turn throws to the first baseman covering first to complete the double play. There is also a triple play variation on this where the third baseman steps on third base before throwing to the second baseman. The origins of this term are in sailing, coming from the term used to describe sailing from Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean by navigating around South America's Cape Horn.[1]

Around the Horn also refers to a television show airing on ESPN. It is hosted by Tony Reali and features four sports writers from around the U.S. debating set topics about the world of sports.
