Senduri is a small village of 114.1 hectares in Nanpara Tehsil in Bahraich district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Senduri depends on Nanpara (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Senduri's pin code is 271865[4], and village code is 06450800. The area of Senduri is segregated as 63 hectares irrigated area, 3 hectares unirrigated area.

Senduri has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Demographics[edit]

Senduri is a census village in the district of Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 853 and has total administration over 130 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Senduri has 188 children, 107 boys and 81 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 121 (14.19%) males constitute 65 (7.62%) of the population and females 56 (6.57%).

The workforce is 190 male, 11 female with 191 (95.02%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 181 males and 10 females. 33 males are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 140 male and 3 female agricultural labor. 10 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Nanpara (MB) and Bahraich to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
