Kuaan is a small village of 205 hectares in Karchhana Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kuaan depends on AKHODA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Kuaan's pin code is 212301[4], and village code is 05537500. The area of Kuaan is segregated as 326 hectares irrigated area, 18 hectares unirrigated area. the 0.16 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 18 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Kuaan has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Kuaan is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1393 and has total administration over 216 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 265 (19.02%) males constitute 140 (10.05%) of the population and females 125 (8.97%).

Employment[edit]
According to a census 2011 report, 428 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 297 male, 131 female with 328 (76.64%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 276 males and 52 females. 139 males and 31 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 53 male and 14 female agricultural labor. 100 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of AKHODA and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
