Pharmacology

Pharmacology is the study of drugs including their chemical makeup, absorption, interaction, toxicity, and side-effects.

Commonly confused with the field of Pharmacy, Pharmacology is primarily concerned with the study of drug interactions, as opposed to the handling and dispensing of medicines.
