Cities Harmed By Nfl

From Conservapedia

Here is a growing list of cities harmed or even impoverished by the pagan, greedy NFL:

St. Louis[edit]

The Rams left St. Louis, already a poor city, with a massive stadium debt when the Rams left town in 2016. As of 2019 the unpaid debt that the Rams left was still $90 million. St. Louis's reserves were only $53 million at the start of 2021 (and then less due to COVID-19)[1]

The suffocating debt left by the billionaire owner of the Rams debt cuts into things like funding police protection, which St. Louis badly needs.

Meanwhile, the Rams' owner declared at the time that his new stadium would not be funded by taxpayers. But since then the costs of the new Rams' stadium has ballooned to $5 billion, for which the Rams' owner has demanded that the NFL help him cover.[2] The NFL, in turn, shakes down taxpayers for its monies, including looting them in connection with each Super Bowl, also known as "Super Subsidy."

Without billions in taxpayer funding to prop up the NFL, it would not exist. And St. Louis could then afford good police protection.
